北齐时期，学识渊博的袁聿修做了博陵太守，他为官清廉，公私分明，不收取别人的钱物。有一次他去外地考察，路过兖州。老朋友兖州刺史邢邵拿出一匹当地生产的白色丝绸送他，他以考察地方官员注意瓜田李下之嫌婉拒朋友的好意。
