战国时期，苏秦来到韩国游说韩宣惠王抗秦，他说：“韩国地理位置优越，拥有最先进的弩机，士兵十分勇敢，可以一当面。如此强盛的国家却要向秦国称臣屈服让人耻笑，俗话说：‘宁可当鸡的嘴巴不要当牛的肛门。”宣惠王同意抗秦。
