窘蠢众所□，鼎贵争弹冠。丈夫遘数奇，寂寞妇亦叹。
浮荣信可期，执鞭非所安。二者交战之，谁云物外观。
所以终日坐，杯酒聊自宽。藜藿堪供膳，楸桐可作棺。
遁世求无闷，白贲回狂澜。幽思寄小句，以俟儿曹看。

王以悟，字惺所。河南陕县东凡人。明代万历三十二年（公元1604年）中进士，任邢台令。邢台遭荒灾，他上报朝廷求援，设粥棚、置棉衣，救济贫民。他亲自检查救灾事项，还用自己俸禄，赎回穷人卖掉的妻室儿女。天启元年（公元1622年），他调任山西参政，单车就道，行李简陋。后辞官回乡，隐居不仕，专门从事办学。他与张抱初、张春宇，吕豫石等文人学士培育了众多学生。他还著有《常惺惺稿》10卷，《解缚编》2卷。他教授学生著书立说，去世后，在陕州城内建有祠堂。
