译文
叛将康楚元、张嘉延非法弄兵，窃取荆州。北落星的光彩明亮闪耀，战争胜利在望；南征猛将密集如云，气势如雷。靠近天的长剑像闪电一样地挥动，直斩长鲸，劈开海水。我看到楼船这样壮阔，就像王浚当年率领军队从三蜀东下，直取吴国，接受了吴军的投降的景象。扬兵开战，虎旗张扬，杀声震天，江中顿时白浪翻滚，犹如银屋。指挥的将军身居玉帐之内，在河魁星的方位设置军帐。紫髯若戟，头冠崔嵬，十分威武雄壮。天子驾临，细柳营开，细柳治军严谨，纪律严明。才知道灞上的队伍，就像孩子们在做游戏，很容易受到敌人的袭击。羌笛横吹《阿亸回》曲子，月光笼罩下的戍楼中吹起《落梅》。将军舞起长剑，壮士呼声震天。军队得胜庆功，演奏献凯之曲时，功臣的画像能被画在未央宫的麒麟台上。
注释
古月：是“胡”的隐语。这里指叛将康楚元、张嘉延。
窃弄章华台：指康张叛军弄兵窃取荆州。窃弄，非法弄兵。章华台，楚灵王所筑造，旧址在今湖北省。这里代称荆、襄一带。
“北落”两句：北落星的光彩明亮闪耀；南征猛将密集如云，气势如雷。北落，星名，即北落师门星。位置在北方，古代常用此星占卜战争胜负，如星光明亮，就认为胜利在望。
电曳：像闪电一样地挥动。倚天剑：意谓靠近天的长剑。
龙骧：人名，指益州刺史王浚。太康元年，他率领军队东下，直取吴国的都城，接受了吴军的投降。官至大将军。三蜀：指蜀郡、广汉、犍为三郡，皆在今四川境内。
虎旗：即熊虎旗，古时主将的军旗。
玉帐：指主将所居的军帐，坚固不可侵犯，像玉制作的帐篷一样。临河魁：在河魁星的方位设置军帐。古人认为军中主将须根据时历选择一定的方位设置军帐。
紫髯：原为三国时吴国孙权容貌的美称，这里指南征将领容貌的威武。崔嵬：高耸的样子。
羌笛：由西方部族传入的笛子。这里泛指笛。《阿亸回》：即《阿滥堆》，乐曲名。
九垓（ɡāi）：九重天。麒麟台：麒麟阁，在汉代的未央宫内。汉宣帝时，画功臣霍光、苏武等十一人的图像在麒麟阁上。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
