译文
美人洗浴以后，碧绿的池塘里莲花开放，散发出芳香。她的两股发髻盘成云朵，容貌就像美玉一样；脂粉被洗淡了，露出了素净的蛾眉。
她的姿态文雅美丽，雪白的肌肤与嵌着金花的容器相互辉映。头发上的水珠断断续续地溅了下来，脸上的油脂被融化了，浸透肌肤散发出香味。

芬馥：香气浓盛。
沼：水池。芬馥：香气浓盛。
“双髻”句：描写女子美丽的容颜。髻（jì）：在头顶或脑后盘成各种形状的头发。绾（wǎn）云：形容女子挽起的头发浓密如云。颜似玉：比喻女子面容洁白美好。“
“素蛾”句：形容女子双眉之美。素娥：淡而细长的眉毛。蛾须细长而弯，古人用以喻指女子之眉。素：自，淡。淡绿：古时女子以青黛画眉，色青黑，故称“绿”。“淡绿”指眉色浅淡。
“雅态”句：形容女子姿态文雅美好。闲：同“娴”，文雅。闲淑：文雅美好。
“雪映”句：女子洁白的肌肤与量水的金斛互相映衬，愈显女子肌肤之美。雪：比喻女子肌肤洁白无瑕。钿（diàn）：古代一种嵌金花的首饰。钿装金斛（hú）：以金花装饰的量水器。斛：量器。此指量水之器。
青丝：乌黑的头发。
酥：搽脸的油脂。

谒金门·美人浴鉴赏
这首词写出浴后的美人，将女子出浴后的美貌和娇态刻画得尽态极妍，十分生动传神。
开篇首句“碧沼莲开芬馥”是写景，写池塘里莲花开放、飘散芳香，以环境烘托女子之美；也可视为是用象征的手法，写浴中的美人。
“双髻”二句从发型、容貌和眉毛几方面写女子出浴后的美貌；“雅态”二句写她出浴后姿态的优雅和肌肤的雪白，其中“雪映钿装金斛”将浴女头上首饰与雪白肌肤映照，画面细致活脱，光彩照人。
末二句“水溅青丝珠断续”先写美人长发在碧水中濯洗，生动传神，颇富生活真是的清韵；“酥融香透肉”则透过视觉、嗅觉、味觉的通感，表现美人诱人的神情，其描画女性人体美的直觉，穷其精妙，可与西方人体油画名作库尔贝的《波中之女》并读。
该词写女子碧莲池中沐浴的情景，美而不俗，艳而能雅。在封建礼教的时代，这是篇大胆的逆经叛道的作品。另有观点认为：作者对双鬟，金斛，青丝不惜重笔精美刻画，生生描绘出一个香艳诱人，尽态极妍的美娇娃。然而最后一句“酥融香透肉”赤裸裸解释了作者之意，不过是把女性当做一种一饱眼福的风景，勾起性欲的玩物来描写。这种“男子作闺音”实际上是男权社会中对女性赏玩控制的文学宣示。
