占春压一。卷峭寒万里，平沙飞雪。数点酥钿，凌晓东风□吹裂。独曳横梢瘦影，入广平、裁冰词笔。记五湖、清夜推篷，临水一痕月。
何逊扬州旧事，五更梦半醒，胡调吹彻。若把南枝，图入凌烟，香满玉楼琼阙。相将初试红盐味，到烟雨、青黄时节。想雁空、北落冬深，澹墨晚天云阔。
暗香疏影·夹钟宫赋墨梅鉴赏
“占春”三句。此言梅花乃是东风第一枝，独占众花之先，迎春而放。所以词人观赏画中墨梅，感到犹如身处在寒风刺骨，莽莽飞雪的旷野上。以视觉转化为感觉，是修辞中的通感手法，词人运用自如，不愧为“空际转身”的大家。“数点”两句。“酥”，喻花之润泽，光滑感。文同诗“新枝放花如点酥”可证之。“钿”，本为黄金制的钿花饰品，这里喻墨梅之形态。此言画中墨梅，枝头有数朵盛放，而树下已是落英缤纷，像是被清晨的春风吹落的。“独曳”句，化用林逋“疏影横斜水清浅”诗句意。“广平”，汉时郡名，东汉吴汉封为广平侯。在今河北省内。“独曳”两句言墨梅一枝斜展，其风韵，被广平君所极力推崇、赞赏。“记五湖”两句，回忆。此言词人看着眼前的墨梅，就又激发起他对一段往事的回忆：当年他月下旅游途经太湖之时，掀篷观赏沿岸景色，也曾在一个临水之处，见到过那里有一株梅枝在朦胧的月光照映下，显示出它如画般的风景。这两句也是点词调意也。上片赞墨梅。
“何逊”三句，追忆旧事。“何逊”，南朝梁诗人，曾为广陵（扬州）王记室，其诗多为酬赠及纪行之作，较长于写景及炼字，杜甫诗歌在艺术形式上曾受其影响。此处词人是以何逊自喻也。此言自己正在睡梦中追忆旧事，却被“胡调”声扰乱清梦而惊醒过来。词人忧国之心，由此可见一斑。“若把”三句。言如果把这幅墨梅图搬进祭祀功臣的凌烟阁中，将能使阁中满室生香，更加令人难忘。此既是称赞墨梅图之妙笔，也是企图唤醒大家，必须记住功臣们抵御外敌的英雄业绩，谨守国土。“相将”两句。从眼前的墨梅图，联想到在梅雨时节采摘梅子与盐调拌，就可取来作宴席上的美味调料了。“相将”，这里可解释为“如果取来”意。“想雁空”两句，再赋墨梅风骨。言图中墨梅如果处在彤云密布中的北地严冬晚天中，它也将会傲霜斗雪，淡然处之。结尾又暗示着在北方沦陷区的人民，他们也将会用梅花精神来激励自己，与敌人抗衡到底的。下片重在写墨梅的风骨，并示以不忘与外族抵抗的决心。
全词既是咏本调“暗香疏影”，也是咏词题中“赋墨梅”，可说是内容紧扣词调与词题，梦窗不愧为填词好手。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
