译文
鲜艳明亮的荷花代表着祥瑞，亭亭玉立站在水中。
一根花茎引出翠绿之色，两个花朵分用一片鲜红。
花颜好像拿走了歌伎的面色，香气迷乱好像舞动衣服引起的微风。
这样的莲花必然会互相思念，更何况它们的心是在一起的。

杜公瞻，生卒年不详，隋代文学家。中山曲阳（今河北保定一带）人。隋卫尉杜台卿侄子，官安阳令，曾奉敕编纂《编珠》，今存诗一首。杜公瞻为宗懔《荆楚岁时记》作注，并有意识地将《荆楚岁时记》所记南方风俗与北方风俗进行比较。后来，《荆楚岁时记》和杜公瞻的《荆楚岁时记注》一起流传，人们习惯上仍将其称作《荆楚岁时记》，从而使南北朝后期中国南北方的岁时风俗荟萃于一书之中，对中国岁时文化的传播和发展产生了重要影响。
