译文
我高卧在山林，揭开帐子欣赏山中的自然美景。
忽然梅道士派人送来书信，邀我去他那里赴宴。
房里炼丹炉刚刚点起火，屋外桃花正灼灼盛开。
如果说饮此酒能永葆青春，那我一定一醉方休。
注释
梅道士：生平不详。孟浩然有《寻梅道士》《梅道士水亭》等诗，可见梅道士当是隐居近邻。
林卧：林下高卧，指隐居。
开轩：一作“搴帷”。物华：自然风光。
青鸟：据《汉武故事》载，西王母欲见汉武帝，先有青鸟飞来，后以青鸟比喻使者。《山海经·西山经》：“又西二百二十里，曰三危之山 ，三青鸟居之。”郭璞注：“三青鸟主为西王母取食者，别自栖息于此山也。”这里指梅道士派人来请诗人赴宴。
赤松：赤松子，传说中的仙人名。《列仙传》谓：“赤松子者，神农时雨师也，服水玉以教神农，能入火自烧。往往至昆仑山上，常止西王母石室中，随风雨上下。炎帝少女追之，亦得仙俱去。至高辛时复为雨师，今之雨师本是焉。”《汉书·张良传》：“愿弃人间事，欲从赤松游耳。”这里指梅道士。
金灶：指道家炼丹的丹炉。王勃《秋日仙游观赠道士》：“雾浓金灶静，云暗玉坛空。”
仙桃：《汉武帝内传》称西王母曾以玉盘承仙桃送汉武帝：“又命侍女更索桃果。须臾，以玉盘盛仙桃七颗，大如鸭卵，形圆青色，以呈王母。母以四颗与帝，三颗自食。桃味甘美，口有盈味。”这里借指梅道士家的桃树。
童颜：像儿童一样的容颜。驻：保持。
流霞：仙酒名。王充《论衡》：河东项曼斯好道，去乡三年而反，曰：“去时，有数仙人将上天，离月数里而止，月之旁甚寒凄怆。饥欲食，辄饮我流霞一杯，每饮辄数月不饥。”这里借指梅道士宴上的酒。

清明日宴梅道士房创作背景
诗人以隐士身份而宴于梅道士山房，因而借用了金灶、仙桃、驻颜、流霞等术语和运用青鸟、赤松子等典故，描述了道士山房的景物，赋予游仙韵味，流露了向道之意。

孟浩然（689-740），男，汉族，唐代诗人。本名不详（一说名浩），字浩然，襄州襄阳（今湖北襄阳）人，世称“孟襄阳”。浩然，少好节义，喜济人患难，工于诗。年四十游京师，唐玄宗诏咏其诗，至“不才明主弃”之语，玄宗谓：“卿自不求仕，朕未尝弃卿，奈何诬我？”因放还未仕，后隐居鹿门山，著诗二百余首。孟浩然与另一位山水田园诗人王维合称为“王孟”。
