译文
我思念故乡扬州，就觉得扬州也在呼唤着我。首先入梦的是隋堤上杨柳，娇嫩得经不起雨蒙雾锁。那瓜步山下，夜半江潮拍打着岸边；似乎也拍打着倒映在江中的月亮。细雨洒满十里扬州路，灯光耀然醒目，映衬着如虹跨涧的红桥胜似火。更有那尚待成熟的樱桃晶莹红润，都无不令人魂系梦牵。
什么时候才能回到故乡扬州，以归隐江村，频卧江楼？与诗朋吟和，同酒友对酌。在自家花园里时时点缀新鲜花草。如同沙鸥一样能自由自在生活。白头老人还为五斗米去屈身弯腰？岂不违背了自己的志趣！
注释
左：违背，不合。
步，一作埠。山名，在江苏六合东南，亦名桃叶山。水际谓之步，古时此山南临大江，又相传吴人卖瓜于江畔，因以为名。南北朝时曾经为军事争夺要地。公元450年，南朝刘宋文帝发动了元嘉北伐，但是被北魏太武帝击败，后北魏拓跋焘反攻刘宋，十月从黄河北岸出兵，连续击溃宋军多路主力，十二月率兵至此，凿山为盘道，设毡殿，隔江威胁建康（今南京市）。南朝宋鲍照迥《瓜步山楬文》：“瓜步山者，亦江中眇小山也。徒以因迥为高，据绝作雄而凌清瞰远，擅奇含秀，是亦居势使之然也。”宋王安石《入瓜步望扬州》：“落日平林一水边，芜城掩映只苍然。”清顾炎武《上吴侍郎旸》诗：“烽火临瓜步，銮舆去石头。”
家：这里指扬州。
瓜步：瓜步山。在江苏省六合东南，南临大江。瓜步月就是瓜步这个地方上面的月亮。
红桥：在扬州城西北二里，是扬州游览胜地。
折腰人：此处是作者自谦，也是愤激之反语。左：左计，不适当的策划。
满江红·思家鉴赏
此词抒写了对扬州的怀念，也透露了对仕宦生活的厌倦。上片着意描写扬州的风景名胜，令人神往。下片抒写对重返扬州的生活展望。全词平易浅近而内涵丰富，感情真挚，颇具特色。
口语化而又典雅的文字的塑造，往往需要一定的雅醉。这样，在醒醉之中方能一吐快绪。性情自然而生，笔下文字在情感的催促下静静流露。《满江红·思家》读起来让人感觉十分亲切和畅快。
“我梦扬州，便想到扬州梦我”，人世终究没有将我忘怀，如此眷恋于我，此时感知自己是如此的重要。在劳累之余，似乎不仅眼睛一热，要哭一下鼻子的。冷漠的社会，该对自己敞开心扉。过好自己的生活是很重要的。不管金窝银窝，还是最喜自己的草窝。只要自己生活得开心，过个自由自在的生活，便不去追逐那些轻浮的感觉，为俗事所累。

郑板桥（1693—1765）清代官吏、书画家、文学家。名燮，字克柔，汉族，江苏兴化人。一生主要客居扬州，以卖画为生。“扬州八怪”之一。其诗、书、画均旷世独立，，世称“三绝”，擅画兰、竹、石、松、菊等植物，其中画竹已五十余年，成就最为突出。著有《板桥全集》。康熙秀才、雍正举人、乾隆元年进士。中进士后曾历官河南范县、山东潍县知县，有惠政。以请臻饥民忤大吏，乞疾归。
