译文
谭氏心爱之人懒于送往迎来，所以她怕唱歌，愁跳舞，所以故意病春酒而迟迟不去梳洗打扮。她性格内向，总是把爱人放在内心深处深藏不露，所以不能说她是一个缺乏情感的人。
谭氏关心恋人近况，因而想象她双泪啼红，秘密写信，倾诉衷肠。恋人向谭氏说了很多柔情蜜意的话语，山盟海誓，以表达坚贞的爱情。想起那时在杏花馆内，俩人在深深的花阴之中，没人能看得见，但是她却还嫌那花阴浅不避人；两人同宿画堂，本来是普通的银烛，而她却羞于见光，嫌烛光太明。
注释
朝中措：词牌名，宋以前旧曲，名为《照江梅》《芙蓉曲》。双调四十八字，前片四句三平韵，后片四句两平韵。
谭德称：名季壬，字德称，西蜀名士。为崇庆府学教授，徙成都。与陆游交往甚密。
春酲（chéng）：春日病酒。酲，喝醉了神志不清。
向人：爱人。向，爱。
啼红：用魏文帝美人薛灵芸的典故。灵芸被选人宫时，以玉吐壶盛泪，壶呈红色，泪凝如血。
剪绿：剪烛。绿，绿烛。
深盟：即盟誓态度坚决。
杏馆：种有杏树的院落。
画堂：装饰豪华的卧房。

这首词是陆游代谭德称而作，所写对象似是谭氏的心爱之人。词中塑造了一位娇羞怕人、爱心深藏而情感却炽烈如火的女性形象。
上片起首二句写谭氏心爱之人不乐逢迎。因为懒于送往迎来，所以她怕唱歌，愁跳舞，故意病春酒而迟迟不去梳洗打扮。这表明谭氏的恋人是一位文静自洁、不乐往来应酬的女性。“总是向人深处，当时枉道无情。”写谭氏恋人的爱心深藏。“向人”，就是爱人，此指爱谭德称。“向人深处”，写的是内心深处爱人，而表面不动声色。这表明恋人的性格内向，深藏不露，莫说她是一个缺乏情感的人。
下片起首三句“关心近日，啼红密诉，剪绿深盟”，写谭氏关心恋人近况。谭氏关心恋人近况，因而想象她双泪啼红，秘密写信，倾诉衷肠。“剪绿深盟”，“剪绿”即剪绿裁红，当时用以形容男女之间所说的情话；“啼红密诉，剪绿深盟”，形容恋人向谭氏说了很多柔情蜜意的话语，山盟海誓，以表达坚贞的爱情。至此恋人深藏的爱心终于有了一个充分表露的机会。煞尾二句“杏馆花阴恨浅，画堂银烛嫌明”，联想往昔恋人娇羞畏人的情形。在认识到心爱之人乃一位爱心深藏不露却又炽烈如火的女性之后，谭氏不由得回忆起以前俩人相处时的一幕幕情景。那时在杏花馆内，俩人在深深的花阴之中，无人可见，但是她却还恨那花阴浅不避人；两人同宿画堂，本来是普通的银烛，而她却羞于见光，嫌烛光太明。谭氏联想至此，对于恋人那娇羞畏人的性格，认识得就更加深刻明确了。
这实际上是一首优美动人的爱情词，词中塑造了一位个性鲜明、栩栩如生的女性形象。笔触婉曲深细，内涵丰赡而语极简炼，是陆游爱情词中的佳作之一。

陆游（1125—1210），字务观，号放翁。汉族，越州山阴（今浙江绍兴）人，南宋著名诗人。少时受家庭爱国思想熏陶，高宗时应礼部试，为秦桧所黜。孝宗时赐进士出身。中年入蜀，投身军旅生活，官至宝章阁待制。晚年退居家乡。创作诗歌今存九千多首，内容极为丰富。著有《剑南诗稿》、《渭南文集》、《南唐书》、《老学庵笔记》等。
