昔有一人，于瓮中盛谷。骆驼入瓮食谷，首不得出。主人以为忧，无计可施。有一老人来语之，曰：“汝莫忧，吾有以教汝出。”主人亟问：“法何？”老人曰：“汝当斩驼头，自当出之。”主人以为妙，即依其语，以刀斩驼头。既杀驼，而复破瓮，如此痴人，为世人所笑。

杀驼破瓮译文及注释
译文
从前有一个人，一开始把粮食存放到了瓮中。一头骆驼偷吃了瓮中的粮食，结果头被卡在里面出不来了。因为骆驼的头出不来，这个人就为此事发愁。有一个老人来到见了就说：“你不要发愁，我教你一个能让骆驼头出来的方法。你把骆驼的头斩断，自然就能够出来了。”这个人听了随即就采纳了老人的意见，用刀把骆驼头斩断了。已经杀死了骆驼，进而又要把瓮打破才能取出粮食。这样行事的人，被后人所耻笑。

瓮(wèng)：一种口小腹大的盛器。
食：吃。
首：头。
既：已经。
以为忧：为此事而忧虑。
语：告诉。
即：就。
依：依照，按照。
其：那个。
用：采纳。
得：表示情况允许，有“能够”，“可以”的意思。
之：第三人称代词，他、她、它（们）。这里指那个既杀死了骆驼，又打破了瓮的人。
汝：你。
复：又。
老父：老人。
患：担忧。
