自唱新词送岁华。鬓丝添得老生涯。十年旧梦无寻处，几度新春不在家。
衣懒换，酒难赊。可怜此夕看梅花。隔年昨夜青灯在，无限妆楼尽醉哗。
思佳客·癸卯除夜鉴赏
上片开头“自唱”两句，意思是说：“在癸卯除夕守岁之时，我创作了这首《思佳客》的新词，用来送旧迎新。”以此感叹自己的双鬓又添上了白发，而仍旧羁旅在外，不得返归故乡。“十年”，两句是说：“我继续叹息：从前美好的遗踪已经难以寻觅，又痛惜好多年的春节，自己都无法返归家中，与家人共叙天伦之乐。”
下片“衣懒换”三句，写自己的生活潦倒，又生性疏狂。此言虽然现在是过大年，但是自己却无法添置新衣，所以索兴连旧衣也懒得换洗；又因为贫穷所以连酒也不能赊来借以独酌守岁。那怎么办呢？只好折来些梅枝，用赏花来度过这漫漫除夕之夜吧。这里也可见词人虽然贫穷，却不失雅人本色。“隔年”两句，内外对比，更见自身的困穷。此言除夕夜尽，一元复始。在大年初一的清晨词人面对的仍是那盏照明用的隔年孤灯；而外面处处高楼，却飘响着酒醉后人们的喧哗声。作结两句形成了强烈的贫富反差，也是词人对这个不平等的社会的一种无声控诉。有杜甫“朱门酒肉臭，路有冻死骨”的意境。
从这首词中，读者可探测出此时（癸卯除夕）苏姬大约已经离开了词人处，所以词人被搞得家不成家矣。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
