侬家鹦鹉洲边住，是个不识字渔父。浪花中一叶扁舟，睡煞江南烟雨。
觉来时满眼青山暮，抖擞绿蓑归去。算从前错怨天公，甚也有安排我处。

译文
我家在鹦鹉洲边住，是一个不识字的打鱼人。我在波涛中一叶扁舟上睡着了，外面下着大雨。
醒来时感到满眼青山都染上了暮色。抖擞绿蓑衣要回家去了。就算我从前错怪了天公，他也安排我做了渔翁啊。
注释
鹦鹉曲：原名（黑漆弩），后因本曲首句易名为鹦鹉曲。
侬：我，吴地方言。
鹦鹉洲：在今昔对比武汉市汉阳西南长江中，后被江水冲没。此乃泛指。
睡煞：睡得香甜沉酣。煞，甚极。
烟雨：烟雾般的濛濛细雨。
抖擞：此作抖动、振动。
甚也有：真也有，正也有。

白贲（约1270－1330前），字无咎，号素轩，祖籍太原文水（今属山西），南渡后居钱塘（今浙江杭州）。善画，能散曲，是元散曲史上最早的南籍散曲家之一。南宋遗民诗人白珽长子。延祐年间由省郎出知忻州，忤监郡，去职。至治间起为温州路平阳州教授，历常州路知事，终南安路经历。是知名元曲家，《太和正音谱》以其曲为上品，称为“如太华孤峰”，据《全元散曲》，今存小令二支，套曲四套（其中残套一套），所作〔鹦鹉曲〕相当有名，和者颇多。亦善画，并能诗，《元诗选·癸集》甲集存其诗二首。生平事迹见《元诗选·癸集》小传，孙楷第《元曲家考略》有生平考证。
