拟咏怀二十七首·其二十六鉴赏
庾信留仕北朝后，常常面对异域风物而起羁旅之叹。但这首诗所描写的边塞景象，并不一定是即目所见，而是综合若干具有北方特征的景物，再结合几个典故，构成冷落萧索的总体印象，借以抒写出心头的凄凉之感。
“萧条亭障远，凄惨（一本作‘凄怆’）风尘多。”浓郁的乡关之思中夹杂着尚未消磨的豪气，从诗中迎面扑来。他本可以在故乡安乐地走完自己的人生旅程，却又因故而漂零在异地他乡，屈仕敌国，远离家园。诗人看不见故园的青山秀水，他想：黄河的那一面，应该就是故乡的城池吧？苏武不在，易水犹寒，没有人能够明白诗人对于家乡的思念。壮士一去不复返，自己不知何时才能踏入故园。“故园东望路漫漫”，诗人把最好的岁月留在了异国他乡。最后借前面典故的字面意义，与前六句合成一个完整的境界，勾出了诗人遥望亭障关河，面对秋风寒水，在边塞的帐幕中晨起悲歌的形象。
在格律上，此诗除第二句为三平调外，其余各句平仄粘对都暗合五言律诗的规则，已可视为唐人五律的先声。

庾信（513—581）字子山，小字兰成，北周时期人。南阳新野（今属河南）人。他以聪颖的资质，在梁这个南朝文学的全盛时代积累了很高的文学素养，又来到北方，以其沉痛的生活经历丰富了创作的内容，并多少接受了北方文化的某些因素，从而形成自己的独特面貌。
