刘大櫆（1698——1780），字才甫，一字耕南，号海峰，今枞阳县汤沟镇陈家洲人。刘大櫆修干美髯，性格豪放，纵声读古诗文，韵调铿锵，喜饮酒，好吟诗。受教于同乡吴直，才华出众。雍正七年（1729年）和雍正十年（1732年），两次参加考试都登副榜。刘大櫆60岁后为黟县教谕。几年后告归，居枞阳江滨不再出游，以文学教授生徒。大櫆著作有《文集》10卷《诗集》6卷《古文约选》48卷、《历朝诗约选》93卷、《论文偶记》1卷，纂修《歙县志》20卷。逝世后，安葬在今金社乡向荣村刘家苕箕地，墓为省级文物。
